Young water professionals, staff and children at Huruma children’s home.

Today, a group of young water professionals made up of the young members of the Nyewsco staff visited Huruma Children’s Home in Ruring’u, Nyeri County, to provide support and care for the children residing there. This initiative involved the donation of essential items, including foodstuffs, clothing, toiletries, and other supplies, aimed at improving the living conditions of the nearly 90 children housed at the facility.

Huruma Children’s Home serves a diverse group of children ranging from primary to college levels. The home prioritizes providing basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, and education. It aims to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically and socially.

The visit by the water professionals was part of a broader effort to engage with and support local communities.
