Nyewasco was delighted to host the Board of the Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA) for a courtesy visit to our offices. The delegation was led by the Board Chairman, Mr. Mukundi Wambugu, and received by our leadership team, including Board Chair CPA Gathogo Mwangi, Managing Director Eng. Peter Kahuthu, and Chief Manager Technical Services, Eng. James Ngunjiri.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both organizations to collaborate on improving water and sanitation services for the community. Key discussions centered around enhancing the existing partnership to address pressing challenges, particularly the sanitation gap that affects many households.
As part of their visit, the TWWDA Board toured two of our critical facilities: the Kangemi Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Kamakwa Water Treatment Plant. The tours provided an opportunity for the Board members to gain firsthand insights into the operations, technology, and strategies deployed to ensure sustainable and efficient water and wastewater management.
This visit marked another milestone in our shared vision of delivering clean water and better sanitation to our communities. By working together, we remain committed to bridging gaps, improving infrastructure, and fostering innovations that will enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
